Troubleshooting: Activator or License Error
In some cases, this issue may occur approximately every 364 days from the original activation date. If you encounter this error, follow the steps below to reactivate the software.
Important Note
Make sure you are using the correct icon named DDDL_START.
If you are not using the correct shortcut, you may receive an activation error.
Sometimes Windows Defender may remove or quarantine the correct shortcut or related files.
If this happens, you have two options:
-
Open Windows Defender and restore the deleted or quarantined file.
-
Contact us and we can remote into your system and restore it for you.
We take steps to minimize this issue, but it is the end user’s responsibility to monitor Windows Defender to ensure it has not removed required files.
Steps to Reactivate
-
Right-click on the DDDL_START icon.
-
Select “Go to file location.”
-
When the folder opens, locate the .exe file that contains the word “activator.”
-
Right-click the file.
-
Select “Run as administrator.”
-
Click “Activate.”
Additional Information
We do not configure any activators to expire automatically.
A license may become invalid only if:
-
A Windows operating system update occurs, or
-
A hardware change is detected.
Hardware Level 4 Message
If you receive a Hardware Level 4 message, it means the system has detected a hardware change.
In most cases:
-
Run the activator again as administrator following the steps above.
-
This will restore the license.
If the issue persists, please contact us so we can generate a new license file.
